character history - - - [/blockquote] [/blockquote]Around twenty three years ago, Alec Moreau and Rachael Lovette were, happily, married. They were completely love struck the second they met with each other and were committed to their relationship every since that day. Their wedding was absolutely stunning and it was better than what they had expected it to be. To make things even more jovial, Rachael soon found that she was pregnant, about five months after the wedding.
Yes, the ecstatic couple was even more thrilled when they had their first-born daughter, Estelle Aurélie Moreau. Rachael was completely thrilled, as was Alec but having a daughter was what Rachael really hoped for, so she and Estelle could have mother-daughter time and such. Indeed, Estelle did enjoy the time she spent with her mother but, as time passed, she soon lost interest of hanging out with her and moved onto kids her age, not even bothering to spend any time with her mother. With Rachael having such a tight knit career made it even worse, considering it seemed as though he had barely anytime to even greet Estelle. But, out of guilt, she would spend some alone time with her daughter, whether it was spent watching a movie or running around the city.
Only one year after Estelle had been born, René and Adrien Moreau were brought into the family picture. Most people would have thought that having another child in the household would cause little Estelle to become a bit jealous, especially two younger children, but surprisingly the young girl was thrilled to have younger brothers. The three were very close as time passed and seemed to be the best of friends.
As the years passed, Estelle grew a bit more distant from her mother and siblings, the jealousy of her mother spending more time with the twins kicking in. She could never understand why Rachael would barely spend any of her free time with Estelle instead of with the twins all of the time and that caused her temper to overflow. Soon, she commenced her rebellious stage, pulling terrible pranks on her parents and neighbors and doing stupid and dangerous stunts, and she would not listen to her parents scolding, no matter how angry they got at her. The adrenaline Estelle received from breaking the "rules" of her household gave her a confident, powerful feeling, as if she had conquered a new skill. She was victorious throughout the remainder of her rebellious stage, considering Alec and Rachael gave up on attempting to scold her and gave in to her demands; giving her money and whatever else she wanted just so she would leave them alone. This course of action was completely stupid, on Alec and Rachael's behalf, because, little did they know, they were simply encouraging Estelle’s rebellious behavior.
After she graduated from high school, everything seemed to change. It was around two in the morning when Estelle was awaken from her mother's sobs that night and went to comfort her; oblivious to why she was so upset. When she was finally able to tell her, a strong fog of guilt surrounded Estelle. She was unable to even think, there was so many regretful actions flooding her mind. You see, Alec and Rachael had gotten into a fight, like they did all of the time over stupid things. But this time, they didn’t end it by just storming off, Alec actually had the nerve to strike Rachael multiple times. It didn't matter how much her mother attempted to convince the girl that her father was sorry and didn’t mean to hit her, Estelle just wouldn't listen. The truth was she blamed herself for what happened because she was acting like a complete fool. She’d been putting stress on her parents and she thought that was what lead them to fight so often.
Rachael decided it would be best to move and start out fresh, without Alec, hoping it would help keep her and her children close. So Rachael and the Moreau kids moved all the way from Europe to America. Estelle wasn't happy about this move nor was she upset. At that point she didn't really care what they did or where they went - she was too concerned about her dad getting to her mom again.
This was probably one of the best decisions Rachael had ever made. Thinking her kids would start out fresh as well and attempt to do better in school, which Estelle did. She, of course, was very interested with the English language and actually enjoyed University. After graduating from University, she became a flight attendant. So, Estelle is doing very well and doesn't really care about her father at all. In fact, she pretends as if she doesn't even have a father.

Smoke pursued its' way through partially parted lips, floating away until it vanished, blending in with the cool air. A joint was placed between those same parted lips, inhaling more of the marijuana. The somewhat thin, pale pink lips belonged to, eighteen year old, Jason Harris. The young man had decided to take a stroll downtown and enjoy the fresh air while he could. Of course, a few of his friends were probably having a great time somewhere else, but Jason decided to take a break from his friends and such. All he wanted to do was just hang out and take it easy.
He exhaled another cloud of smoke as he, slowly, walked along the sidewalk, his blue eyes grazing over the many faces of strangers. He had always wondered why everything seemed so cluttered and obnoxious in the streets. Sure, clusters of cars were causing traffic jams, the many pedestrians talking, hysterically, about one thing and then the next, but other than those few things, it would actually be a calm place to be. Jason heaved a low sigh at his thoughts, the blazing sun reflecting a sort of gleam onto his sunglasses, and finished the last of his joint, tossing it to the pavement beneath his feet. He squished what was left of the rolled drug beneath the toe of his white and gold Nikes and shoved his hands into the pockets of his somewhat loose fitting, blue jeans.
A slight breeze caused the white Polo shirt he was wearing to rustle, slightly. The first three buttons were undone, partially revealing his toned chest, and the wind sent a small chill down his spine as it washed over his bare skin. Even though it was quite warm out, Jason was enjoying every minute of the chilled breeze, the many different pleasant aromas mixing together gave him a delighted feeling. He turned around, spinning in the heel of his foot, and began to observe the small shops in the area. He was feeling rather bored and wanted to do something to keep him entertained, so the only thing he could think of was go window-shopping. Indeed, it wasn't something that the male would normally do, but it was a gorgeous day to be outside, so why not take a look at what every shop had to offer while he was walking.
The disgusting after taste of tobacco soon met his taste buds, causing him to check all of his pockets for any sign of gum. Of course, there was none, so now he would have to meander along the shops to find some, or anything else that would rid of the nasty taste. That shouldn't be a problem, he thought, his glossy blue orbs scanning the small shops as he walked, at a slow pace, along the sidewalk. Soon, the cafe shop came into view. Even though Jason was in search of something more along the lines of candy, coffee sounded good to him, right now.
As the senior student entered through the double doors of the cafe, he was immediately struck by the sudden temperature change of the air. There were a few vents around the room but, nevertheless, the strong warmth burned Jason's nostrils as he breathed in a large amount of the humid air, causing him to rub his nose, gently. Even though it was a bit much, the young man was more than grateful for the warmth sinking into his chilled skin, compared to the chilly breeze, which insisted on nipping at his chiseled features, outside.
He made his way to the counter, waiting patiently for his turn to order. When that time came, Jason ordered exactly what he wanted, coffee with milk, paid the cost of his hot beverage, and then turned his attention to the tables. Like circlets of June sky, the young man's orbs drifted over the cafe, glowing with curiosity as he studied the few people who were already seated at the tables. Noticing that there were only a few, Jason assumed mostly everyone was out enjoying the weather, considering it was a beautiful day outside.
After taking a small sip of the burning liquid, Jason moved away from the counter and settled himself into a chair farther away from the entrance of the shop, beside a rather large window. He enjoyed watching the commotion that went on outside while he was seated inside, relaxing and enjoying his cup of coffee of the day, especially when he was high.
