Justin was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, for the most of his early life he spent it like a normal kid, both his parents helped on healing the world a little, his father being a police officer and his mother a nurse at the hospital. he had a good family supporting him when he was younger and two older brothers that looked out for him as much as they possibly could. but there was parts of his life that he would happily take back, they lived on a rough street with a lot of bad people and having a copper surrounding the enemy, meant there was a lot of people that wanted to hurt mr. parker for the things that he did for a living and stopping them from having the easy like of crime. he remembered watching one night out of his brother’s bedroom window at the front of the house, seeing these people circle the house and set it on fire. he watched until his father raced into the room and lifted him off the ground as smoke covered them both. he didn’t understand the hate some people had in their hearts to hurt such a good man, he was eight years old when this happened and since then, they never went back to Trenton and moved to London for a short while, the over seas to Spain before settling in new York on Justin’s thirteenth birthday.
This was when the dream of becoming a singer came to mind, he watched a street performing band doing there thing in the middle of new York city and he couldn’t take his eyes of them, he even walked over and asked them about their music and what influenced them to do the things they do. and they only replied with ‘you can change the world in the words you sing, write or speak. we don’t have the biggest homes, or flashiest cars but we do have a song in our heart.’ those words were printed on his first ever album, just randomly on the back cover and now in his recording studio the words were mounted on the wall, those words made him want to go out there and express his love to all the people in the world, write a song that made people feel better when there is no light in their life. to sing songs to the poor and be able to feel the connection between them, he was not a singer but just a person that sung for people. and that was when the dream came true, he wrote a lot anyway, poems and short stories as he didn’t feel as though he could express himself any other way. so he took most of the money that he had been saving for years and bought his first guitar and spent everyday playing on it, before, after and sometimes during school and sung sweet melodies along with them, until one day when he was sixteen years old, he got his first big break and this was when everything, just everything seemed to change.
His best friend’s mum had a small café but it was very popular and he was able to sing their in the evenings for a little bit more money, he was happy and could see people’s face light up when he was singing, all his songs were his own and he never sang someone else’s song, that was their stories and he wanted to express his own. but one day someone else was in the crowd, he was dressed in a smart suit and looked at him through his sharp glasses. that day was when he was signed to a new upcoming label that needed some new talent. This was after he made a fool out of himself at the prom in front of everyone but he didn’t care the only thing that mattered was hearing those hurtful words comes from those beautiful but drunken lips. When he queried about where they were going he told them New York, and of course Justin went straight to Kaelin’s twin, Kayleigh to ask about this, the second she heard New York she was packing her bags to go with Justin and try and make herself and artist too but in different ways.
So that was it only a few months after Kaelin had left Nashville so did Justin and Kayleigh. As he wandered down the hall of the record studio he sighed with a red bull clutched between his fingertips, he was asked for his first single to be done with someone else, just to see how versatile he was, which he didn’t mind but at the end of the day he wanted to be a solo artist. As he looked down the doors and saw the number he was asked to go to at a certain time he sighed and stood outside it, this was it. His dream was coming true. He adjusted his jacket before grabbing the door handle and opened it slowly to see two men in suit, his manager and her’s before seeing sitting on the sofa signing some forms, or autographs, one or the other, was Kaelin, and damn she looked just as beautiful as ever. He stood at the door before his manager urged him inside, closing the door after him, asking if he would take a seat next to Miss. Londres. He sighed before brushing a hand through his hair and sat down on the same sofa as her, but not dead close to her.

COMING TO NEW YORK was one of the greatest things that had happened to kaelin. she had always had a dream to come to new york city. and she always had a dream to be a famous singer one day. well she got both, at one time. right before graduation, she had sent in a demo of her singing to a few different record company's. none got back to her within a week and she started to think she wasn't going to make it where she wanted it. the night of her graduation though, she got a call from one of the record company's, they wanted her. she was excited. and a few days later was prom. the day after that, she left for new york, leaving her sister, her friends and her family behind. pretty much her whole life was back in nashville, tennessee, but she didn't realize how much she would miss everybody until she got to new york. she got her own house with the help from some friends and the money she had been saving up for ever. not to mention the record company helped a lot with that. they were helpful in so many ways and they treated her right. something she always wanted. to be treated right by somebody. her whole teenage years, she was treated not right by boys, always using her. it took her to come to new york, to realize that too.
BEING KNOWN BY PEOPLE was different that was for sure. some people always wanted pictures with her, some wanted autographs. she wasn't as big as a lot of stars, yet. the only reason people knew her was because she had sang a few songs that the record had written. none that she actually wrote herself. she was saving all of that stuff for her own album. at first she thought it was going to be amazing being known by so many people. but then she realized she didn't really like all the attention and she really just wanted peace and quiet. a lot of the time she went out with a group of friends and would always hide between them all. she didn't like being pointed out to everyone. it was different than she expected. she expected all the stress and she expected all the fans and paparazzi, but what she didn't expect, was all the bad talk from the other celebrities. it was hard to tell who was your real friends there. some were just friends because people were telling them that they had to be or something about the fame. and it was hard for her especially because she couldn't hang out with a guy friend without everyone assuming that they were in some kind of relationship that were not just friends. that was what she hated the most, the meant she could really only hang out with girls and that she had to be more like a girl instead of being one of the boys, what she originally was back in nashville.
EVERY NOW AND THEN she thought back to nashville and wondered where she would be in life there. would she still have the same friends after graduation? it had only been a few months and still every time she got homesick, she wished she could be home and wish that this never happened. though the record producers promised her that she would get over this sickness soon enough and that things would be getting more fun soon. recording and not being that well known wasn't the fun part. it was the working part and the part everyone stressed the most in the business. though when kae finally had a day off, she was sitting at home in the morning still in her pajamas and everything, hoping to just sit around and do nothing all day. but then she got a call telling her to come into the studio. so of course, she was a little pissed off and ended up showering and being ready within twenty minutes. she had grabbed a coffee on her way to the studio and then finally she was there in a half hour and her boss finally told her what was going on. some guy wanted to sing with someone for his first time and they wanted them to sing together. just great. that pissed her off even more. she was supposed to be a 'solo artist' hence the solo part. but none the less, she decided to give it a try and see if this guy was even a good singer.
WHEN SHE SAW WHO she was going to be working with, kaelin almost freaked out. she had been sitting in the studio signing some contract when none other than justin parker walked in. her old best friend. when she saw him, she almost wanted to just get up and run up to him and hug him, tell him she was sorry for everything. but for some reason she couldn't move. she just sat there and looked at him. she knew she was going to be singing with another person, a male, but she never thought it would be justin. he was a good singer, she knew that, but just a few months before, he was back in nashville. how on earth would they be signed to the same record company. weirder yet, why, out of all people would they be paired together for this? surely he didn't know she was signed to this record company. all she had told him when she told him she was signed to a record company, was that she was signed to a record company in new york city and was leaving the next day. after just thinking for a moment, kaelin peaked over at him from the corner of her eye, slightly biting down on her lip. the only time she ever did that was when she was nervous or scared. now she was both. she didn't want to do this, not with justin not now. for all she knew, he hated her guts. finally she managed to choke out. "um hey." maybe there was some way to get out of this. there had to be right?

Justin was looking forward to writing singles for people and letting people know of his talent but on the other hand he was very scared, all the music he had written in his life had been about his family or his past, and even Kaelin was in there, a few songs he wrote were just for her when she was going through her rebel years he wrote a lot of songs because she wasn’t around anymore. Now all these songs, the ones they heard they wanted him to record, and he was scared of that people seeing parts of him that he never showed anyone but the Londres twins. He couldn’t help but think of Kaelin when he was walking around and about the recording studios, because this was her dream, not only his they always talked about being in front of a massive crowd, singing their hearts out and having so many people listen to them, and love their words and the feeling they showed when singing. Now they were apart even though the dream was still the same. Justin had a lot of girlfriends in his lifetime a lot of them were just interested in him because of his music but he only really ever had eyes for one person, and she was one of the only ones he didn’t date, nor kiss. I bet you can guess who? Kaelin Londres. She was amazing and they were dared a couple of times to kiss and they did, but it wasn’t a special moment, but still kissing those lips was fantastic for Justin.
As he entered through the door he was smiling, happy to know who this person was he was going to be working with, she was meant to be new just like him and from the same area, he of course had not clicked on. But when he saw Kaelin he froze and looked at her, his own manager having to urge him to sit down. He sat and looked over at her while she was still marking her contracts about all this stuff before he was handed a couple of sheets and told to sign. He did as they told him too before looking at them, the two managers which looked like naughty children that played a prank on friends, they of course knew of their history a little or this wouldn’t have been such a good idea. When everything was done the men exited the room and left the pair together to ‘brain storm’ ideas. When she said hey he looked at her before looking away again, rubbing his hands on his jeans as he was nervous before standing up. Lets get on with this then. he said before heading over to grab the guitar before sitting across from her, not really wanting to be close to her at the moment, he didn’t even know if she remembered him confessing his love to her and her throwing it all back in his face.
He began strumming the strings a little, hearing the sweet tune linger in the air as he closed his eyes and let the music take him away for a moment. As he still continued to strum he opened his eyes to look at Kaelin and just plainly spoke So what do you think the song should be about? Family, friends, a lover or just betrayal. of course that was a little dig at her, because she did leave all that stuff behind even though he was here now he still felt betrayed by his best friend, his one friend that honestly loved him for everything he was. He was not saying he was unpopular just she knew him for the good and bad, the ugly and beautiful everyone else just saw him as the musician and the genius, the one that played basketball and just went on with life, but he was so much more and only Kaelin knew that.

KAELIN ALWAYS HAD SOME kind of feeling for her best friend justin parker. ever since they started to be friends in elementary school they were close. they did everything together, along with kayleigh, kae's twin. kaelin honsetly thought that the three of them would grow up and never ever lose their friendship. well it was kae who had messed up everything after all. and she felt horrible for what she had done. and she had promised herself to never get into a close relationship with anyone else again because she knew she would probably just end up messing everything up and probably hurt someone and get herself hurt as well. and let me tell you, kaelin is not good with pain. any kind of pain at all. weather it's physical pain or if it's mental pain. physical she'll probably just go and put an ice pack wherever it is she was hurt, or a heating pad for that matter. but mental pain was different. to her, it was the worst pain somebody could have. she had that a lot, well since she had left for her new york anyways. she had this feeling that she was messing up her whole life by coming here. even if she was living her dream. she still missed everyone back in tennessee. her parents, justin, her close friends, and she even missed her sister a little bit. that was why she wanted to go back. just coming here alone made her have a lot of mental pain. and often she would sit locked up inside her house writing some kind of lyrics to a depressing song or she would go through old pictures and videos of her and her friends back at home. even if she lived here in new york for the rest of her life, she would always think of tennessee as home. that could never change either. there was too much of a difference from new york.
AT THEIR SENIOR PROM, SHE had been drinking alcohol, so she didn't remember anything of that night really. though she had been told later that week what had been said to her by justin parker. the last time she had seen him. supposedly justin had admitted that he was in love with her and had been since they were young. kaelin hadn't known that he had said this until she had left for new york and a friend had called her to tell her what a bitch she was for what she did to justin. not knowing what was going on, kae made her friend tell her everything that happened and after that, kaelin felt horrible and wanted to just go back to find justin and tell him how she had felt. he had after all felt the same way about her. it was weird how that happened, but none the less, kae was glad that she was out of tennessee. she was going to new york, and soon enough, she was going to forget about justin. or at least she hoped anyways. she had a feeling that he wanted nothing to do with her. he could have any girl he wanted and kae thought he deserved better. she also had a feeling that he was going to move on and not forgive her for being such a bitch on their prom night. so of course, she went and did everything she could to get her mind off of the boy. but some how, he always had found a way back into her mind and she had actually stopped flirting with so many guys. i mean, she still flirted, but it wasn't anything serious. and after her album came out, she planned on going back to tennessee to find him and tell him how she felt, weather he wanted her back or not. she honestly didn't even care if he was an asshole about it all, just because she had been a total brat to him in the first place. so if anything, she deserved to be rejected after what she was going to say to him. if she ever did find him again. and sure enough, she found him. except he had come to her. not the other way around, like she thought it was going to be.
BY THE TIME KAELIN AND justin were going to start, their bosses had left them alone so it was just those two alone. this was kind of awkward for kaelin considering she hadn't seen him in a few months and she knew things were going to be weird between them, she was just going to try and keep that from happening. she didn't want to go on with life and have to do this duet with awkwardness between them. kaelin could tell justin was nervous, she was too, but she could hide it more easily. she knew justin a lot better than a lot of people, as well as him knowing her. they knew each other behind what everyone else knew. growing up together was a big thing. they were best friends, and often times, people had thought they were going out. she had a lot of her close friends tell her to just ask him out already because they apparently would be the cutest couple ever. kaelin had liked him for the longest time, but when she started to get new friends in her teens, she had this feeling that he didn't feel the same way about her. so she went out and found new guys that would give her attention. that's when she started to get into the parties and everything like that. she wanted to get her mind off of the one guy she liked the most. she didn't want to mess things up between them, but it happened anyways and she regretted every minute of it. kaelin probably would have tried to get out of everything earlier, if she hadn't realized it until just now. when she was eighteen and it was too late. so what do you think the song should be about? family, friends, a lover or just betrayal. kaelin immediately knew that he was referring to something. she felt horrible about it too and then she shook her head. "i don't know." she took a deep breath. "im sorry justin." she had to just let it out. he had to understand why she left like that and why she changed so much. she would explain if he would give her the chance.

Justin knew from a young age that there should have been something there with him and Kaelin, when he was younger he would have passed it off and made some funny remark about it, girls and boys didn’t really mingle when they were around five years old, but they did and they loved each other company. Everyone has been telling him that he shouldn’t take any of the blame for what was happening with Kaelin, for the reason why she left and why she didn’t see him like he saw her, but part of him felt bad for not telling her earlier or even trying to be there when she started partying hard and being a rebel to get attention, he would have if she allowed him but her friends and her circle was so different from what he was used too, so he kind of let their friendship fade as it seemed impossible to save. All Justin wanted to know was what Kaelin was up too, how she was, when she had a bad day and when she thought about calling him, or even trying to find him, find out what he was doing. Because he spent a lot of the time searching the internet trying to find out how she was, even though a lot of the words were twisted and made to make her seem like some prissy little girl that didn’t know what was in stall for her. Justin felt very sorry for Kae’s twin Kayleigh, the girl was losing her way in life and she needed her sister to be there for her and tell her it was going to be ok, he always thought they were going to move to New York together and have a small flat together because they used to be that close, but I guess sometimes like isn’t that nice to some people.
Senior prom was one of the most horrible evening Justin ever had to go through, he was with a bunch of lads that decided they were too cool to go with dates and would just hook up with someone instead, but Justin drank a little and got happy but then when he saw Kaelin, dressed in the most beautiful dress in the world he felt his heart sink so low knowing she had no idea what he was feeling. He watched that beautiful body all night, dancing with many boys, her lips hold that prefect smile as she laughed and played with her friends, he used to make her smile. He used to make her laugh, they used to play, and they used to dance, sing and be happy. But as he stood watching her, he knew that she was never going to be his, he never deserved to love someone that beautiful and angelic. He couldn’t forget her, even when she was gone the memories of her echoed in his mind, the places he used to go with her, and the lake where they would sit for hours and sing random tunes they wrote in their notebooks. When the managers left the room he watched them close the door silently as if it heightened the tension in the room, it was like two tigers placed in a cage together, there was a part where love wanted to occur but the hatred and betrayal he felt was hurting him too much to agree to the simplicity of love at the moment. Justin was nervous because his talents needed to be shown here and it was hard to do that when all the words that came to his mind was ‘I love you’ but of course it would be awkward to put that into a song.
Justin was a little abrupt with what he wanted the song to be about, he needed her to feel some of the pain he had been going through lately, he wanted her to know what it felt like to have your heart taken away from you, to be rejected in front of all your friends, everyone you grew up with. She then said that she was sorry, he looked over at her, holding the guitar close to his chest, eyes wandering over her body for a minute, she actually did look sorry for what had happened. He then took a glance down to the guitar before plucking at the strings softly and sang one of the songs he wrote just after Kaelin had left and the one he sung to the producers when he was getting signed, and the one that was going to be his debut single ‘here by me’. He sang softly as if he was only singing to himself, that passion was held in his voice the pain he felt when she left was hidden all between those words as he sung. When he had finished he looked at her before sighing. I missed you Kaelin he confessed as he looked at her.

IF KAELIN HAD IT HER WAY her and justin would be together right now. not in the matter of them, being next to each other like they were now, but together as in a couple. kae had always dreamed about growing up with him and never leaving him or him leaving her. she thought that they would be voted couple mostly to stay together forever in high school. probably the reason that kaelin hadn't said anything to justin about her feelings was because of the fact that she had lost her virginity at a party and she didn't know how to tell anyone. she didn't even know what had happened until the next morning when she woke up naked next to him. see what alcohol does to you? kaelin had originally told herself after that night she wasn't going to drink anymore, but she had ruined that within a week. she had tried to tell justin what happened that night, but it was too hard for her. she didn't regret what happened that night, she just wished that it was another guy she had lost it to. someone she knew better and trusted. that person was justin. the person she had dreamed about growing up with and having kids with. when she was little she had often dreamed about her wedding night with him. that was a secret of course. and then she always said she wanted five kids. and her and justin would play house in their basements and pretend that she was the mom and justin was the day. but when they hit middle school, and learned how babies were really made, they started to feel differently. that was when kaelin started to get into her whole thing with ditching him and her sister all the time. that was when she wished she could go back in time, so she could change everything around and things would be better today.
THE ONLY REASON SHE HAD run was because she was afraid of ruining things between her and justin. she had always known that justin liked her, but she just didn't want to mess things up. she knew that if they went out and then they broke up, that things would get messy and she would lose him. that's why she always kept herself busy with other girls and guy and started to avoid justin. she thought he was happy not having her bug him every waking moment. little did she know that she had been hurting him by avoiding him like she was. she should have never done it and she probably could have him right now if she hadn't done all that to him when they were younger. even if it was just a few months ago at prom that he told her he loved her, that was hard for her to take in. she was all hyped up on alcohol and she didn't know what to do. and hearing that from her best friend? yeah that was a little weird. and she didn't know she had blown him off like that until someone told her. and when they did, she almost wanted to cry and she probably did that night after going and drinking a bunch at some party she just randomly went to. that was something she had done when she got desperate for alcohol. she would actually go around town and just look for a party by herself. if she found one, she'd just walk right up to the door and walk in and act like she knew someone. she'd most likely go hit on a guy with a beer in his hand. it just showed that he was drinking and probably had some alcohol in him so he wouldn't care if kaelin was hanging on him acting like they knew each other. that was the trick she learned when she had first started going to parties. the other thing she learned was that, guys got turned on more easily when they had alcohol in their systems. you can all guess what happened after she learned that.
TURNING A GUY ON WAS JUST plain fun for kaelin. she would tease them until they were desperate for some kind of action. then kae would just simply walk away and say she'd meet them up in a room, then she'd bail. she was a bitch like that but every time she got close to getting sexual with someone, she would start to think of her old best friend and then she'd feel bad and wish she was with him. she'd tell herself how disappointed certain people would be if they ever found out what she was doing behind their backs. and justin was the main reason why she didn't have sex as much as she did. and when he started to sing to her, that made her start to cry.. almost. tears had filled up in her eyes and they glazed over her eyes, making it look like she was crying. she knew that the song was about her and she knew he had written it just because of her. that's what had made her feel bad. she knew that he had wrote songs about her in the past, but not like this. this was different and as much as she liked it, she didn't want to hear it anymore. so she just shook her head and chewed on her lower lip. something that she only did when she was nervous. and right now, she was nervous and scared but yet happy and excited at the same time. it was weird how she was feeling all these different moods. but she had felt it because she was feeling these old emotions and she didn't know what to say. well she knew what to say, the words just wouldn't come out of her mouth when she opened it. so all she did was position herself next to justin and wrap her arms around his neck. she closed her eyes and just hugged him for a moment. she didn't ever want to let go now. she missed being with him and being held by him. she missed their times like this and she really was never going to lose him like that again. it would just be too hard on her. "i missed you too justin." she whispered in his ear as she hugged onto him, she just hoped that he wouldn't pull away any time soon.

Justin had realized he was in love with Kaelin when he was around fourteen years old, when she was drifting from him, he realized that not being with her hurt a lot and then seeing her with other lads made him angry and upset, singing songs on his own didn’t have a meaning anymore, seeing that smile she had being used with other people hurt him, everything dug a little deeper into his soul, making him feel worthless. Justin heard stories about Kayleigh losing her virginity at some party but his heart would wouldn’t allow him to believe it, she wasn’t that kind of person and he knew it, there was some explanation, but when he wanted to ask her he knew it was not his problem, he was not her boyfriend, he was just a friend, just another friend. Justin was no angel, he lost his virginity to his high school girlfriend, they were only together for a couple of months and she was completely different to him, she was outgoing, a partier and drinker, he was more timid but when she was stripping in front of him and tempting him, he had to take it, he wanted to take it. His male hormones took over his body and he slept with her, since then he has had a couple of on and off flings with some good friends, but never one night stands, he liked to have a connection with the people he was sleeping with.
Betrayed was never the word used for what Kaelin did to Justin and Kayleigh, she just got up and walked away from them and everything they had together, as friends and siblings. Justin couldn’t see why she would leave him, they were good, everything was good, I know he made a fool out of himself at the prom but still they were best friends, at least she should have told him first. Justin was a heavy drinker and the press had recently been calling him an alcoholic for the amount he drank in one evening, but it was his coping mechanism with things at the moment, he was here in New York and his little happy life in Nashville was ruined and now with all the fame, money and talent he honestly didn’t know what to do with it, so he drank to forget about it. As he took the guitar and began to sing to her, he closed his eyes for the duration of the song because he didn’t want to look at her because it hurt and he didn’t want to fuck up to song while he was singing it, or even cry as it was possible for him to cry when in her company. When he had finished he placed the guitar next to him and saw that she had moved in her seat and was actually sitting next to him, he sighed as he looked over to her, the silence killing him a little, wanting to know what was going through her mind while she sat beside him, but when her arms wrapped around his neck he knew the words she wanted to speak. Letting his hands lay on her hips he held her close to him while they hugged, hearing the words he wanted to hear linger in his ear. She did actually miss him.
They sat there for a good couple of minutes hugging each other, his feeling being expressed in the way his way ran up and down her side, comforting her. Then when he finally did pull away he smiled a little before speaking. I know this isn't what I wanted, I never thought it’d come this far, Just thinking back to where we started, And how we lost all that we are. he said before getting his notebook out his pocket and jotted down the words and then looked at her I know what to write now. he smiled before laughing and looking at the pad, then Kaelin. Jotting at the top of the page ‘Before The Storm’ so she could see it, and then started making the lyrics underneath it.
