character history - - - [/blockquote] [/blockquote]presley was born in Los Angeles, California. She was the only girl of three kids, not to mention the baby of the family as well. so at birth it would be no surprise shed be the little angel who couldnt do wrong in daddy's eyes, but unlike most little girls born into privledged families, presely never took advantage of her families social status. her brother gaeson and wyatt were defintley the stereotyipcal older brothers, graeson was six at the time of presley's birth, and wyatt was two. presley was great at winning graeson over, he was the softer of the two growing up, and those big bold eyes could win him over with anything. but wyatt was always the touh one, no matter what presley did there was no way she was going to get away with it. and going to high school with him as a junior her freshmen year, was definetly not an easy task. everyone expected her to be a cheerleader, but the girl never took a liking to it. graeson played football, basketball, and baseball... and with presley idolizing him so much she wanted to follow his tri-athlete status. so her highschool days were spent with cross country, basketball, and softball. though to the outgoing young woman it never seemed enough, but she didnt have time to play anything else.
most of presleys childhood was spent with horse back, piano lessons and during the season, softball. her whole family loved baseball, so it was no surprise presley would be playing the equivalent. both her older brothers were star baseball players, her dad played his whole life from pop warner to college ball... and a little bit of time for the Dodgers until an injury put him out. though not being able to play surely didnt put a damper on the families finacials. joseph maddox was the heir to some big restaurant chains, and a major hotel chain as well. it also wouldnt be long until hed own part of his once professional baseball team from his young adulthood. after graduation presley decided she wanted to travel before going to school, and set off to austrailia, and europe for 10 months in all. a month was spent all over the states, not sure of where exactly she wanted to be.

well, raquel was use to going to the states for the summer months with a family, but getting to attend for pretty much an entire school year, that was something she had never been invited to do before. not like raquel was going to complain, she liked coming to the u.s., she loved portugal... but she just enjoyed the states a lot more. it was her first night with her new exchange family, and they had wanted to go bowling. they did this once a week, raquel had never really been fond of bowling. she had done it a few times on her previous visits, so she had kindly told the family shed gladyly tag along; but that she wouldnt be joining. kendra sat at the table by her new families lane, playing with the ends of her long dark strands of hair. her eyes had been watching a girl who had been here now for over a half an hour, obviously awaiting the arrival of something. raquels mind raced, figuring she was awating her boyfriend... or a first date. to rocky, as the americans called her, it seemed more likely that the girl was awaiting a first date. raquel allowed another five or so minutes to pass before standing up, her heels clicked softly on the ground; and the long dark hair bounced against kendras shoulders and down her collar bone. the pieces that stayed in the back, laid down to the middle of raquels back. her walk showed some arrogance, but it wasnt exactly arrogance. portugese people were just tending of being proud, especially with the family that raquel had come from. clearing her throat, raquels accent broke the bowling alley air, blending with all the noise that hovered. but it wasnt lost in the many sounds that danced in the bowling alley, no.. something that sharp and demanding, but pretty, was hard to ignore. "'ello, i hate to say it but... it looks as if your date.. stood you up possibly?" raquel wasnt quite sure of her words, her english was better then most; but it was still rough in some places. raquels tan warm skin beamed under the cream top, lightly biting her lip raquel spoke again. "raquel,.. and you?" the portugese exchange student blanked a bit on her english there, she knew it was ore then obvious but she really just didnt care. raquel knew that this little conversation could end poorly, but it was worth the shot. plus, raquel couldnt help but to talk to this girl. she didnt know why, but she was just naturally pulled towards her. ["im am exchange student,i hope you dont find me rude in my speaking..." raquels eyes danced along a group of guys who had stopped, she raised her eye brows at them and then broke her attention. "american pigs" raquel had an issue with american boys since she had gotten pregnant, she had been manipulated into having sex with her exchange families eldest son who was 17 at the time of her being 14. a cringe and shiver escaped raquel's body as she thought of the event, but she quickly replaced her disorietned look with a gentle smile.
