stella jayne was the youngest child and only daughter of lawyers janet and charlie mitchell. stella grew up in new york city in a townhouse with her parents and three brothers, dylan, marcus and jacob. stella was her parent's baby girl and she was spoilt rotten, whatever she wanted she got and if she didn't all she had to do was throw a tantrum and it would be handed to her as soon as possible to quieten her down. her brothers tried to tease her but from a very young age stella was a fiesty creature and always put her brothers in their place. even at five years old she was able to boss eleven year old dylan around. stella was lucky enough to have a happy childhood, the family were comfortable and her parents loved each other. apart from being spoilt and loud stella caused very few problems for her parents. stella had very little to worry about when she was growing up and was extremely dependant on her parents.

when it came to school it was evident that stella was much better at the social side than the academic. in middle school she was one of the most popular girls in her year. she was on the cheerleading squad and was dating one of the hottest boys in her year, she was a cliched it girl at thirteen years old. in high school, however, stella lost her crown but she was never short of boys and managed to earn herself a bit of a reputation as the school slut. not that stella did much to prove them all wrong, she liked to wear short skirts and wear make up. she wasn't going to compromise herself just because people thought she was a slag. then in her junior year she started dating travis wilson, she had had her eye on him for ages and when she got him she was determined not to let him go. he was her first long term relationship and she was convinced she was in love with. she lost her virginity to travis - contrary to popular belief stella was actually a virgin when she met travis. then something happened that changed her whole life. she got pregnant.

at first it was scary and she panicked. but then she had travis and he loved her and they would have this baby together and live happily ever after. only, not long after stella found out she was having travis' baby, another came forward claiming to be carrying tavis' kid. stella just couldn't believe it, she had hoestly thought travis loved her and wanted to be with her and only her. the revelation ripped her heart out, she could never forgive him. and she didn't have to because he took off, ran away.

stella was left alone to have her baby, her parents were supportive of her and looked after her but she knew that this baby was her responsibility and she would have to look after it herself. she got a job and started saving for the baby's arrival. her parents were shocked at how mature and strong she was. but stella had always been tough and she wasn't about to break down now. the nine months on she gave birth to a little girl, peaches alana mitchell. for the first few years stella and peaches lived with her parents until stella managed to save enough money for a small apartment for the two of them. stella has worked as a sales assistant, in a tattoo parlour (where she got most of her tattoos) and since turning twenty one has been working in various bars. all stella wants is the best for her little girl, peaches is her world.
