 have you ever felt like you might not belong? or possibly that something is amiss in your life. well, then there could be something a little strange with you. if you're living in perth, australia, then there's a possibility i know what's wrong with you.
it's a big town, yes, fourth largest in australia if i'm right, and you could be mistaken in thinking that only strange things happen in the remote towns of the world where your mother is your cousin and your sister and possibly your wife. but no, magic is all around you if you just close your eyes and look. there are a remote few that have it, but they are there.
in the history, in every generation, ten people have gone missing, their bodies never found. it gets put down as random murders that no one cares about and people move on. but i know the truth, i know what happens to these people. these poor people who have done nothing to hurt anyone.
the people who go missing, have powers. you heard be right, powers. each one has different powers and in every generation, there are ten people who have these powers. it has nothing to do with genetics or who your parents are, it is all to do with who you are inside. no one quite knows how it happens, but people are just chosen for who they are. given different powers, but the same ones every year, these people are sought out and murdered by the people who fear the powers, the people who think this isn't right.
the next generation is starting but they know the stories and don't know if it's a good idea to spill their secrets or if they should keep it zipped.
